30 Jul 2008 - Our new OFSTED report

OFSTED turned up to inspect our new building and see how we're doing at the start of 2008. We've recently had the results back in their official report and we're really pleased with how positively they viewed our work.

We've officially been rated as providing good provision for the children.

We thought we'd give you a rough breakdown here, but feel free to check out the full report next time you visit pre-school.

- The quality of teaching and learning, our organisation and our efforts to help children belong were all rated good.

- Children thrive at the pre-school and make good progress, regardles of ability.

- The children's confidence and self-esteem is high thanks to the staff's individual relationshp with them and their continual praise.

- Inviting play areas and fulfilling activities enhance the children's experience of pre-school.

- The healthy snacks and outdoor play on offer encourage children to be healthy.

- Finally, Annie and Alison were both praised for their hard work, dedication and understanding of the children so a big congratulations to them!
